My time in Seattle is coming to an end. But I want to go out on several bangs. The first bang will happen tomorrow in which I will be hosting an all day movie marathon for my friends and loved ones. Movie nights have been a constant hosting of mine for the past couple of years. I have carefully selected movies I have been wanting to watch and know others have been dying to see. I was so excited planning it that I made this flyer:
Giggleton Holocaust was my first full length comic. It was a homage to Looney Tunes, Battle Royale, Shallow Grave, and of course Cannibal Holocaust. It was a very messy experience. It took a full years worth of anger, frustration, and coffee...lots of coffee. I didn't possess the knowledge or tools (I was using a piece of paper as a ruler for most of it) for creating a comic. But I did it! Yaaaaaaay! Here's the first two pages:
I am a Seattle cartoonist and graduate from the Center For Cartoon Studies. As well as being the creator of Grump Toast comics I'm also a regular contributor to the Seattle based comic newspaper, Intruder. I'm just a guy trying to make it through this crazy world and draw as much as I can along the way.
