Last July I had the opportunity to co-teach a week long comic workshop at 826 Seattle. The workshop, "The Massive World Of Mini Comix," was targeted to 10 to 17 year olds who wanted to learn how to produce their own mini comics and zines. The end goal of the class was to create a comic anthology featuring one or two pages of work from each student. I taught the class with my talented comic buddies and fellow Intruders, Max Clotfelter and Tim Miller. Since the class was sponsored by Fantagraphics we were also able to have a gallery art show for the students' work at the end of the week. All in all it was an amazing time with great comic results. Below is the class flyer (penciled by Max and inked by yours truly) and my own personal submission to the class' final anthology.
